The Northwest Straits Foundation has been busy! Here's a graphic showing just how busy they have been removing derilict nets. These nets are lost but they keep killing marine life!

They have done a lot to restore habitat lost to commercial and tribal gillnets with more work to be done. This effort deserves our continued support as many of these nets are lost every year. We need to do a good job on our end as recreational crabbers to not lose our pots and if we do, mark where they are at and report them.
