Floatable rivers with a metal drift boat in August?

Postby bobberdown123 » Tue Aug 02, 2011 8:40 am

Hey guys and gals, been fishing the cowlitz this summer as other more "drift boat" condusive rivers seem way too low for effective floating. I'm motorless and seem to be at a huge disadvantage when fishing the cow. I've had 3 trips in a row without a steelie and end up comingg home frustrated as I watch the guys with motors pound runs lol. Are there any rivers that a drift boat can still get down and chase summer runs this time of year?
