Mid Channel 4/3

Postby Brandon » Sun Apr 03, 2011 6:42 pm

Fished the bank today and actually had a pretty descent day. Hooked into 4 fish in all. 3 made it to the boat, this one being the biggest. Hotspots and Coho Killers on the deck in anywhere from 90-120 did it for us. Tide change was when we hit em.

Look at the big brain on Brandon!!!
Not too many guys have been thinking Midchannel lately but it's great to see you did!
From what I hear, that was much better fishing than the Columbia River yesterday.
I tried Midchannel on March 19th for the Everett Derby and it was just howling out there. We got slammed around for one pass, marked nada and bolted.
Thanks for the report and I will be hitting it before it closes later this month!

Its definatly pickin up out there. Marked tons of bait and fish all day too. April is always my favorite month to fish for blackmouth/springers out there. We donated another ball out there to. Back when that structure scan came out for Lowrance and Keizer was tryin it out up at Mid Channel I asked him what was so grabby towards the Wilson end...he told me there was tons of concrete and cables dumped on that end. I totally believe it!! Weve lost some gear on that side over the years. If you mark something that looks like a VW Bug on your screen in 100 ft of water bring ur gear up!!!!
