Shipwreck Coho

Postby MR.G » Mon Oct 03, 2011 5:26 pm

It sure is nice to have a decent Puget Sound Coho run! Whenever I can make it out on the water, I am just beating the crap out of the area 9 and 8-2 line right at Shipwreck. If it ain't broke, don't fix it! We are getting into a fish or two on every outing and the most productive lure is the old 4.5" pink hootchie trolled behind a green flasher, down in the 80' range. I fished last Wednesday with my girl Lauren, Saturday with Jared and ended up solo for Sunday... Here are pics of some of the fish. G

It is good to see a nice run of coho this year, unfortunately, tomorrow will be the first time I have fished PS coho all year.

It was a 32" leader, trolling around 3mph on the GPS. There should be some big bucks hangin' round... Good luck! G
