Lingcod and sunshine!

Postby Captain Morgan » Tue May 03, 2011 9:24 am

May 1st provided us with flat calm waters, sun on our "winter-white skin" and quick limits!
We spent more time catching our live bait then it took us to put these yummy critters in the box.
And fishing live bait on my new Fetha Styx,...Ahh yeah.... It's cool to feel the fear in your bait right before the take!
If folks have a chance, it would be good to get out there soon!

Nice work Captain!!!
Nice weather window we had this past weekend for opening day of the lowland lakes trout season as well as the ling opener!
It's sure nice to shake the shackles of ol' man winter and get out on the water!!! 8-)

I love that feeling. In a flash the bait finds some crazy energy reserves and then a powerful slam! Kinda morbid but I kinda like it!
