A beautiful day kayak fishing on Lake Cle Elum. You'd think we had landed in Alaska! We were trying target kokanee and mackinaw lake trout. It wasn't until an hour before we pulled off the water that we switched up gear and tried our luck trolling shallower in 50 to 70 ft of water. Silver colored Needlefish spoons seemed to be what they like. Each of us had only one take down. I missed mine but Todd landed this nice looking 20" German Brown Trout.
