Area 9 1/16-1/17

Postby Brandon » Fri Jan 17, 2014 11:03 pm

Heres a few pics from the last few days. Fished in North A9 both days with some good results. Lots of fish to be had out there right now. Anything small, white or green and glow worked well. We were running the really small king fishers with red racer and green flashers. Make sure your out for the tide change... 90% if our take downs came at low slack. Sorry for the crappy pics, i will do better next time.

Those pics look fine to me and thanks for the report! Nice work!!

After all those great blackmouth days up in the SanJuans I was hoping that a few were going to greet us for the A9 opener!

These fish are well fed and take it from me... They are great on the BBQ! drool

Hi Brandon--I recognize your boat. We were out there in the same area & had similar results. Lights out fishing one hour before & one hour after ebb....3.5 & 4" Cookies Cream 6' off the deck worked for us. Fun when they are biting....and healthy/fat fish !
