Tied into this fish for about 4 seconds and came off. dropped my rig right back to the bottom and and not 30 second later he started nibbling on my rig again. Set the hook and this time it stuck.
Lets just say we weren't fully prepared for what we had coming after we stuck the harpoon in the fish and the end didn't come out. That pissed it off real good and went wild and bent the harpoon end beyond 90 degrees before my fishing partner could pull it out. Went for another run. Got a gaff in it after I got it back up and then a huge meat hook and cut that suckers gills and tail. Now its in the freezer and getting put into enchiladas tonight
