Hali Opener!

Postby Brandon » Sun May 05, 2013 3:12 pm

One of my favorite openers for sure I love fishin for butts in the sound/straits lookin for the barn door. This was hands down the best hali weather ever. Managed a few biters.

Here is one from Northern A9 on thurs.

I gotta couple humps I like to fish in Area 9 for butts but it seemed rather slow. Friday and Saturday we fished Area 6 and found a few more!

I didnt get a whiff of a bite on any of the black label stuff I was usin. It all came on the purples with a skirt slid over the top. Hopefully there still around next opener!

More Hammer Time from the Frenchman...nicely done buddy thumbup

It seems like the purples always look a little more natural and fresh than the blacks. I wonder if that has anything to do with it. Whatever it was the switch worked for ya...great tip man. Picky little bastages aren't they :D

Yes we did. I didn't get any(first timer). I will give it a go on the next opener and try something different than what I did the other day.
