Nisqually Kings, Looking Pretty Good

Postby Medium D » Wed Aug 29, 2012 7:15 pm

Finally got down to the Ol' Nisqy to put in a morning of Float & Egg fishing. It did not disappoint.... Which is not the norm.
The preseason forecast is for 36,000 Nooks and I can definitely say, they are showing up in good numbers.
I finished the day with about 12 take-downs, 8 hook-ups and 6 landed. I was able to keep 3 decent fish as the limit is three. The size of these early fish average 8 to 10 lbs. For a little more info on just how I was able to entice the finicky creatures, check out my latest blog in our Blog Section.

It's been a long, long time since I've fished the Nisqually. Might have to give it a whirl when I get home...just for old times sake. Are there any dimers in there or most of them downriver darks Medium D :?: :?: :?:

About 1/2 of what I have landed, I have taken home. They are in great shape and the meat is excellent...
