Fishing has still been very good down here, we have been getting some nice tuna but not in the numbers that would be normal for this time of the year. the marlin and sailfish fishing has also been fairly good. a couple clients out with chicho the other day got a 700lb black marlin, and while we dont like to ever kill a marlin, it had the line wrapped around the gills and came up dead. we tried to hang it from a roof on the dock for some pictures, but it pulled the roof down! the roof was full of bees and we all went running!
I did have couple spots open up if anyone is interested. i have a 3 day 4 night spot march 21, fish 22,23,24 and leave 25 i have an opening for a group of 2 april 1 to 7
I have april 9 to 15and my friend Ron Knight had a group of 4 coming and 2 had to back out, if anyone would like to join him and share the costs please let me know. the dates are april 17 to 23 fuel surcharge: With the volatile fuel prices lately we have to make our customers aware of our new policy. We base our fuel costs in our packages at $ 4.00/gal. In the event of an increase in fuel costs over $ 4.00/gal we will notify you via email two weeks prior to your trip of any additional cost. Our center console boats use approximately 100 gallons of fuel per day. We are sorry to have to implement this surcharge, but is the only way to keep the lodge running with top quality boats, gear and staff.
