Wonderful day on the canal today, easy limits, sunshine and good company. 230' at the edge of the shelf was the money hole.

I spent Friday and Sat out at Iceberg Point, south side of Lopez Island, pulling pots for shrimp. We did pretty good Friday, but really fought the tides. Yesterday we specifically targeted the slack tide and really hit the jackpot. That was my first experience shrimping. It was a lot of fun.

Good stuff Dan! Iceberg's a great spot for prawns and there's a few ling cod in that neck of the woods too 8-)

I had plans on making some of Buckets famous shrimp omelet's on Thursday morning, but we ended up eating all of our shrimp on Wednesday night and didn't have any leftover. Dang those things is good :!:

Quilcene Bay provided another set of decent sized limits Saturday, along with abundant sunshine and calm waters. combine that with a limit of clams and a bit over a limit of Black Butte Porter and............................................ a late arrival home.

Clam pasta w/ shrimp was very good last night, recipe is worth sharing I suppose.
