We're getting them in different places according to the tides; Outgoing, think Marrowstone, flood, think north.

Here's Team Daiwa getting it done today: Local Daiwa Representative Kiley Brehm, Daiwa Reel Research & Development Manager Takeshi Nagayama and Daiwa Rod R&D Manager Ted Akutsu

With "research" like this... the Daiwa developments just may be very interesting for local anglers spy outahere

I second that Eddy!!!

For those of us that like to spin headless herring or just like playing fish on direct drive reels such a product would be well received here in the PNW. Fortunately I have hoard enough Shimano converted 50s, 1000s and 1500s to keep me fishing in "style" for a while.

Feeding a cut plug to chomping Chinook and then having it peel line off the reel under your thumb as it streaks across the surface into the early morning fog is one of the icon fishing experiences here in the PNW.
