The opener on Nov 1 in A9 was awesome!! Lots of fish caught and amazing weather. But along with November fishing comes the wind. Heres looking out towards Mid Channel on Veterans day.
And then came this cold spell and after the Arctic winds pushed it down my goodness has the water and weather been amazing. I find myself taking more pictures of scenery then fish. That must be my old age setting in.
Ive also been fishing a ton solo this year. Kinda by accident at first... but man... I had no idea how peaceful it is in a boat by yourself sometimes. Killer medicine for clearing stress and chillin out. Heres a "selfie" with me and the pups.
Lots of shorts out there but hey its action and I can't complain. Heres a chunky November fish we stuck at Pilot this afternoon at the high. Red Label herring in all the fishes stomachs and my go to spoon has been the 3.0 and 3.5 yellowtail glow and the 3.0 easter egg spoon on the bottom.
We sure do live in a cool place. I wouldn't wanna live anywhere else. I might go try to find me Hatchery Brat now...
