The creek is in perfect shape, the weather was good with little rain and the fish are there!
Retired Bob in his late 60's and Roger in his early 70's tangled with a few. We found Roger's first fish which was about a seven pound buck and then from there were into them. We ended up hooking five hot winter chrome, which we played each fish for a good amount of time. There is nothing like watching the bobber go down and seeing everything come tight, then the water break with a hot fish on the end of the line! We really had fun watching each fish just go nuts across the river. Some were lost to log jams and a couple just came unbuttoned after fighting them for a while. All the fish were very fresh right out of the salt and the average size was around 11 or 12 pounds. At the end of the day Roger tangled with one pushing 17 pounds staying hooked just long enough for Bob and I to say,"WOW" as the big hatchery buck broke the water showing himself completely. It was a fun day for sure!
If you have been thinking to yourself that you should get out fishing, well I agree give me a call and lets go have a fun time like Bob and Roger did yesterday!
