Blackmouth Opener!

The winter chinook or "blackmouth" opener is now officially in full swing.

We also released two wild chinook and saw several others taken as well. When we got back to the cleaning table, several large herring were found in each of our fish.

Silver Horde Coho Killers and Luhr Jensen Coyote Spoons were towed behind Q-Cove Breakaway flashers and all strikes came within 10' of the bottom!

Hello Mr. Nelson. We passed you several times yesterday--came up with 4 nice hatchery blackmouth. Good start to the year. Irish Cream tailwaggers 10' off the bottom behind green hot spot flashers was the ticket. What a year!
