Westport Kings

Fished Westport Sat & Sun......OMG!!!
Kings to 30+lbs.
Silvers to 10 lbs.
Sat. was a fresh herring @ 90ft. day, hooked/released over 20 fish by 10am.
Sun. was the army truck hoochy day, another 10+ fish.
LOTS of smaller chinook to weed through...hope it can stay open through the month, but the fish checkers say doubtful
Trying to figure out how to call-in "too sore" to work....

Westport has been nothing less that ablaze for a couple of weeks now.
Great report Coho and it should mean great things for Buoy 10 very soon!
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go hook up the boat now...

P.S. This is the guy who took us off the herring, and turned us onto the army truck hoochie....47.5 lbs. on the scale.....don't pinch your fingers on the trailer hitch Nelly!!

That's a career chinook! I know that there's been a bunch of huge chinook coming in to Westport and I'm kicking myself for missing out on it!

That is some nice work there fellas I have been having a spotty tuna year and these reports are making me re-think my Westport trips.
