CAST For Kids Seahawk Event 5
I had the privilege of joining Robbie Tobeck this past Sunday for the 4th Annual C.A.S.T. for Kids Fish and Feast charity fundraiser at the VMAC in Renton, Washington. Jim Owens and the staff at C.A.S.T. once again put on a first class event for the kids, rounding up a bunch of the Seahawk players and at least a dozen or more local guides and their boats to take the kids out on Lake Washington. A huge and well deserved THANK YOU to all of the folks that made this even possible!

This isn't defensive end Nick Reed's first rodeo. The little girl behind him says "Go Seahawks!"
Nick is first on the leader board with a perch that's "thiiiiiis" big. Nick's a good guy…can't wait to see him on the field again this year.
Former CWU standout quarterback Mike Reilly put on a fishing clinic, hauling in perch left and right.
The smile says it all!

CAST for Kids and the Seahawks do indeed put on a first class event. Kids, fishing, Seagals, Blitz, Blue thunder along with the players and volunteers plus the almost perfect weather and an excellent lunch catered by Famous Dave's made it a great day. Nice to see the the Outdoor Line represented too.
It was killing me to miss the event this year. I really enjoyed it last year and you can bet that I'm planning on bringin' my boat and my "A" game next year!

This was my first time participating in this event and I have to tell you I WILL BE BACK !! I had a great time with the kids and the parents (and SeaGal). To share my passion for fishing and being on the water, was great, but seeing and hearing the excitement in those kids voice still has me "high on life"! Great work to all the boat capt's and the helpers at the event. FISH ON!
