It’s “wittle Wobby Tobeck’s 40th Birthday!!! 19

Mar 05, 2010 by Tom Nelson

Robert Lee Tobeck (born March 6, 1970) is a former National Football League center who last played for the Seattle Seahawks. Tobeck played 6 seasons for Seattle after being acquired as a free agent from the Atlanta Falcons after signing as a rookie in 1993.

Tobeck started his college career after accepting a scholarship to Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, but was redshirted as a freshman. He transferred to Kilgore College, a junior college in Kilgore, Texas for two years and then went on to play big league college football at Washington State University.

During high school, Tobeck attended New Port Richey (FL) Christian, which, until his senior year, only offered a flag football program. However, the basketball program was a standout and Tobeck was a major part of its program. He retired at the end of the 2006 NFL season.

On his first birthday "wittle Wobby" showed early signs of his athletic prowess by dominating his birthday cake which had TWO CANDLES!!! indicative of his lifelong work ethic!

Robbie would go on to Washington State University and then the Seahawks by way of the Atlanta Falcons.

Fortunately, his daughter McKenzie saw the error of his "Cougar ways" and early on decided to attend the University of Washington as shown in this Atlanta area newspaper clipping.

Join us in wishing our friend Robbie Tobeck a very happy 40th birthday!!!

Nice job boys, you clearly put some effort in on that one. I though Price hung up on Nelly, well... just because it was Nelly. Hope you had a good one Robbie.

All I gotta say is: If Moos can turn Cougar droppings into dinero then the whole Pac 10 is in trouble. What cracked me up is the instant I said "Moos" to Mike Price, his response was....dial tone.... Happy Birthday you Cantankerous Coug. By the way: I know Chad Eaton, Chad Eaton is a friend of mine. You sir, are no Chad Eaton!!!

Exactly why the activities started so late in the week...to keep Wobbie from running counter terrorism measures

Funny stuff Nelly... no one’s 40th should go unpunished; I know you boyz won’t disappoint. However, given Robbie’s history, if your microphone smells like coyote urine tomorrow… it probably is.
