Last year the inaugural Master Marine Spring Seminar was a huge success!
This year, it is again free, a lunch and door prizes will be provided and we've added a tremendous guest speaker!

Late addition to the seminar:

Larry Carpenter will demonstrate the "Left-handed" herring cut, responsible for two 50+ pound chinook in one day off the west side of San Juan Island!

Mark O' Toole WDFW Shrimp Manager with an overview of our upcoming seasons and what his most effective bait, depths and locations!

I don't know who took the picture but what a great view of the back of my head and my new luck Lowrance fishing cap <grin>. Actually, it was a very good seminar. Really enjoyed the WDFW shrimp update and John Keitzer's (sp) presentation. I'm very sorry to hear of the loss of his friend's family member. Plus it is always good to hear Nelly and John Martinis to talk about that which inspires us all.

Sorry we missed you this weekend but we were busy going 13 for 13 out on the banks. Fishing was out of sight on Saturday. Hope to see you at the derby!

Bumming I could not make the seminar,is there a chance on getting that map of John Martinis' you talk about on air posted?That would be the one on the San Jauns of where and when on what tides.

Larry Carpenter purchased a case of John Martinis' excellent book "Saltwater Fishing Journal" and has them available at Master Marine in Mt. Vernon for $24.95 ea.
All of John's maps that he displayed in his "San Juan Salmon Secrets" seminar on Saturday are in the book.
It's an excellent reference witb killer info!!!
