Happy 50th Birthday Nelly!
Posted: Sun May 08, 2011 9:37 amIt's hard to believe our bouncing little baby Nelly has grown up to be a grand ol' 50 year old man. We recieved this photo from his proud mother taken on baby Nelly's 1st birthday.
"He was eating us out of house and home and we had to come up with something quick or he was going to break the bank," says Tom's mother Marie. A case of krill powder had been collecting dust in the corner of the Nelson garage for years and they figured, "What the heck! Lets mix that protein base with a lil' milk from the neighbors pygmy goat and see if he'll take it."
Walks like a duck, quacks like a duck...yup...it's a Duck!
Baby Nelly took to the krill formula like a fish to water and a young fisherman was born. Little did the Nelson's know just how profound an effect the new baby formula would have on their baby Nelly. They would find out nearly two decades later in the early 80's...to be continued
