Columbia Nearing Flood Stage

Check out this graph of the Columbia River at Vancouver. Flood stage is 16 feet. No bueno thumbdown

This will all but shut down springer fishing on the Big C until this volume of water passes. On the bright side if there's less fish caught it will translate to an extension of the season later when there's more springers in the river. Less fish caught in the lower river fishery also potentially puts more biters into the upriver, off-channel fisheries like Drano and Wind River. Tough deal right now but there's an upside to everything ;)
