Great show this morning guys, but your discussion with Phil about curing herring you talked about the Brine & Bite for curing and scenting as well as the Badazz Bait dye powder but no one mentioned the possibility of combining them to get a cure and color at the same time. Or would you have to do them separately?

A lot of folks do that Kurt and it works great. Just be sure to wear gloves when using Bad Azz dye... the stuff is powerful!

Wow that was a Bad Azz show we really enjoyed the Pro Cure segment!!!
Last year we ordered some Pro Cure, Bad Azz Blue Dye and some anise scent after hearing you guys talking about it on the show.
We were using the old school salt, powdered milk and Martha's Bluing, with pretty good results.
When the order came in we mixed up a batch and headed over to our boat on the outside to hit the silvers. We got to one of the spots we like to fish and there was only one other boat down the beach a bit.
We both started to drop down and immediately had a double on. The other boat was one of the factory charters and they eased on over and with in a a little bit there was a dozen boats from the same resort. The bite for us was incredible and total mayhem.
When we looked up there was a bunch of long faces as nobody was doing much of anything. Me and the wife boated a dozen fish in record time and headed off to photograph whales the rest of the day.
While we headed off I told the wife I heard Robbo talking about how good that the green sinkers work on the show. She gave me a funny look and said exactly how is it going to get any better. It did feel good smoking the factory boats to make up for all the Pro Guides that smoke us.
We are rather isolated and really enjoy trying out some of the different things you talk about on the show. Now we'll have to order some of the green dye. The weather here is great, we didn't have any winter. Getting the boats ready to put in here now and get to fishing again. Thanks again to Robbo and Nelly for some great tips.

What guy SH1...did I miss something :?:

Glad to hear the goodies worked for you guys Gary. One of the locals up there has been using green dyed herring and apparently the silvers dig it because last summer I kept catching silvers with dyed green herring in their bellies. Maybe they would've bit anyways, but it's something to think about spy
