Hello,

I have been fishing freshwater for years and want to learn how to fish in the sound. I have a place on Hoodcanal near Hoodsport and was seeking a guide out that way to show me the ropes (for hire ofcourse). I have a boat and have been out crabbing several times just need to learn the gear, technique and the area. Any tips or guides websites or numbers would be appreciated.

Give Clint at Puget Charters a call. He fishes and crabs over there all the time. www.pugetcharters.com

That's a great call Robbo, Clint Muns is a very well informed, active in the political process angler who would provide a wealth of information to anyone new to the salt!
Welcome aboard Dow, You've picked a great year to get going in the salt! This summer is going to be one for the books! :o
