I agree about the blackberries, I hate them, they always find my waders and poke little holes in them. I also hate bats. Any bat....whether so-called "experts" say they only eat bugs, or fruit and ##it.....ANY bat will bite your neck and suck your blood if you give them the chance. Farkin' bats.

I can see Mingo now with a bat stuck to his neck like Ace Ventura only with the signature Mingo expression!

How about sea lions that try to steal your salmon?
A while back someone posted that they used a slingshot and marbles to deter the sea lions. I was leery of that approach due to laws governing interactions with marine mammals. I am the guy who will invariable get caught if he does something wrong. It took me a while, but I eventually found this link on a NOAA website.
http://www.nwr.noaa.gov/Marine-Mammals/ ... nipeds.pdfSeems they specifically mention slingshots, and show a picture of a nice wrist rocket. I guess I need to get one. I will also be printing out this link and keep it in my boat.

Here's my 7
Sea Lions are definitely on the top of any list. My brother and I each carry a slingshot on board.
Mosquitoes - I have never heard a convincing argument as to the redeeming qualities of mosquitoes. Come to think of it, I have never met anyone that likes them.
Don't like naturally grumpy old farts on the water, you give them a wave or a greeting and they look at you like you kicked their dog. I hope they snag their DR on the bottom.
Seagulls irritate me too. Just like Crows, they're just big rats with wings.
I really hate the natural byproduct of geese on the golf course. They should get back to going south for the winter and going back to Canada for the summer.
Like the previous posts, I don't like gale winds. The only thing good about gale force winds is that you get some really great stories to tell about surviving them.
I also hate the sudden urge to answer the call of nature while out on the water. Other than adding to the water level, my boat isn't large enough to comfortably take care of that.
Cheers,
Maury

What about this lovely bird? Does the sight of this bird illicit any feelings. Get it all out guys...we're here for each other
cormorant_2.jpg
Robbo, certain Asian cultures get back at cormorants in a most satisfyingly tortuous way......they tie a string around their neck, make them swim down and catch a fish, and then yank tight on the string so the bird can't swallow and then THE ASIAN STEALS THE FISH FROM THE CORMORANT! LOL! turnabout is fair play, take THAT cormorant thieving turd bastiges!
