Is there a video out there that shows how to put a 2 hook rig on a live sand dab or live haring?
If not could someone send me some pics or make one.

That's a great suggestion!

I wish you would of told Robbo when we were live-bait ling-ing last week! rofl

Basically, you want sand dabs (small flounder) no bigger than your hand.
Once you get a few in your bucket or live well, take a good look at their size & tie up some mooching rigs (two 6/0 octopus hooks in tandem) spacing the hooks so they will end up at the head and tail of your flounder.

Place the top hook in the flounder's upper jaw and the lower hook just through the skin at the tail.
Find a rock pile and go catch a ling rockon

Where is a good place to catch the sand dabs in the Everett area?

Whassup Odie!?,
Look for the little flatties on flats.

In other words, right outside the Everett Marina, south of the Navy Base there is a huge flat which is part of the Snohomish river delta.

Look for depths of 90 to 110 feet and drop a sabiki rig (multi hook herring or bait jig) tipped with tiny chunks of herring on the bottom hooks.

Another benefit of the sabiki rig is the fact that you'll catch the occasional live herring on it.

If you get a herring, rig it on 6/0 hooks, let it swim around a rock pile or rocky depression and DON'T catch a ling cod..... You'll be the first... rimshot
