Nelson has wrote a buncha blogs on plugs on here. I tried lookin for them but couldnt find them. Hes your guy for plugs. Im sure when he sees this he will throw them up.

I love to use plugs for summer chinook! They are effective, dependable and nearly "shaker-proof" meaning that smaller/sub-legal salmon will take a plug less often than other gear types.

Remember to fish plugs faster and farther back behind the release (up to 50 feet) than you do with other gear and chances are that you too will become a "plugger"!
