Wacked these 2 right at slack tide this morning. We were draggin Hot Spots and Coho Killers on the deck in 140ft of water. Never seen so many seals in a 1/2 mile stretch in my life!! Several times I had 3 or 4 30 ft away swiming along side my boat. Never bothered us with the fish though. Ive become deadly with a wrist rocket.

Nice work Brandon!!!!
What a great day to be out on the water...flat, calm and sunny...and chilly!!!

I'm glad you're giving the damn pinnipeds a wrist rocket "education".
The only way they will learn to avoid sportfishing boats is to give them lessons, one marble at a time!!! ;)

Thanks fellas. Ever since I learned that its ok to have a wrist rocket i havent had a problem. I can put a marble usually within 3 feet of the seal and it scares the holy piss out of them! Most of the time I wont see them again. Pretty effective.....

I fished it on Tuesday the 1st. Lots of seals to contend with. One solid takedown using the door prize 5" rattle plug form Silver-horde. Felt good but it also got the attention of a very large seal. The seal made a couple swipes at the salmon but I was able to muscle it into the net. It was non-clipped so I quickly got it back into the water after a quick measurement, 27" was the length.
A beautiful day except for the &*%$#@(*& seals!
