BC Halibut opens March 1
Posted: Sat Feb 04, 2012 8:11 amDFO has anounced that Halibut will open Mar. 1st. Daily catch and possesion limits to be made in the next week or so.

Posted: Sat Feb 04, 2012 5:47 pmIf you are running from here to Victoria to but fish, I would stay away from the locals boatsup there. They have been pretty hot at us lately, especially with the added cut to their quota coming this year.

Posted: Sun Feb 19, 2012 6:51 amAs said earlier, the season opens March 1st. The limit remains the same as last year. 1 per day, 2 possesion. The season will end when TAC is caught. Sometime in September I think. Good luck out there.
