Posted: Sun Jan 23, 2011 6:42 pmWe've used the Lamiglas Salmon Moocher's for quite a few years and they work great. I use the 1308T rated at 12-15 pound test for both silvers and king salmon. I played around with one of the new Fetha Styx moochers at Dougs Boats a few weeks back and they were super sweet too. The main thing is to get a medium action rod that has a uniform, parabolic action along the entire length of the rod. Find a 8'6" to 10'6" rod rated at 12-25 or 15-30 with this action and your in bidness. Mooching is fun!
