Cedar Plank Springer...Schnikeys!

Fresh Sol Duc spring Chinook topped with olive oil and lightly seasoned with sea salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder drool

I drizzled a little honey over the salmon about 5 minutes before it was finished. Here's what the finished product looked like just before it went to Scarf City USA drool drool drool

That looks good! I tried fishin for springers outa the Duc once. Talk about frustrating.

I've caught a few springers out of the Duc on my own over the years, but it's definitely not an easy proposition. Stam and I were fortunate enough to fish with Mike Z on Monday and he found us a few willing springers spy

MMMM...never seen a plank like that....the Alder and Ceder planks I have used were a one time use thing. does that smoke like the one time use ones robbo? do you soak in before each use? thanks,

Sorry so late responding guys. I got this cedar plank for Christmas several years ago and have no idea who manufactured it. I soak it in water for about 45 minutes (mandatory) and then toss it on the BBQ with the salmon. I've been keeping the heat low to medium to keep from torching the bottom of the board and the fish turns out AWESOME drool
