Boat enclose

I have a small, 17' walk-thru, aluminum fishing boat. I have gotten two bids for a new custom enclosure. It will extend back from windshield less then 6' and be about that high. Both bids are about $2000.00. The best bid encludes windows in the front made out of a "quality "non scratch material, stainless steel tubes, sunbrella material, side windows and full back curtain with two zippers and the middle panel that roles up out of the way.
Does price seem fair? Can anyone recommend another person if this seems way high? I live in Northeast Tacoma. Thanks

Fishmark,
Go on piscatorial pursuits web site and ask the same question
they will tell you to contact fp
Old Duffer
His son does all the things you want done and by word of others he does a great job..........I'm sure you will get a competitive bid from him.
He is a grays harbor guy so it might be a bit further than you want to go but??????????if the price is right may be worth it.

You could also try Spane Buildings for a permanent structure.
There are kits at Home Depot for a DIY project and for a temporary shelter, Costco has their popular, sturdy carports.
Good luck!

Very funny Nellie. I know $2000.00 seems like a lot of money. And maybe for that price I should be able to build a storage structure/enclosure ( dry humor intended). But it seems to be the going rate for a Bimini top, side curtains...

Hey Fishmark,
That's what I get for not having a cup of coffee before engaging my Boat Show addled brain.
For all my marine canvas needs I go to:

Churchill Brothers
1130 W Marine View Dr # C, Everett, WA 98201
(425) 259-3500

Lack of coffee; now that's a dilemma! Thanks for the suggestion. I tried to follow up on piscatorial pursuits per the other suggestion. But I cannot figure out how to post on that site. I dropped boat off today and will post about my experience after completion.
