Wooldridge 29' SS Pilothouse on Steriods?!!

One of the perks of working for a boat manufacturer is test driving. So when Grant Wooldridge says; c'mon Danny we're going for a spin, I get a little jazzed!! Now, I 've run Wooly jet pumps on the rivers for years and I'm well aware of how they perform but the 29' pilothouse is a whole different animal. My first thought was..........big boat equals big slug but it's all good, I get to go on a test run! Typically we sell the 29'er with twin 150's but the customer we worked with wanted to go all mucho mammoth style so we slapped twin 225 Yami's on it!

Here are a few pics..............

After Grant hit the throttle, I laughed like a little girl at a barbie convention! Whoahhhh...........almost 56 mph in a 29' boat! With only one motor we did 41 MPH. The thing turned like it was on rails as well! Wish I had some pics from another boat for the action but no dice this time. Next time.
