You know, after 30 years in the Navy most of those would be refered to as "collisions" and appear to be the result of bad boat handling. There is another pretty wild video I found on the CMA site of an over powered boat that may also be poorly designed. Check this out:

They site this as a reason to wear your PFD and use a kill switch, I would say it is a case of bad design and just plain going too fast. There isn't enough of that boat in the water to ensure good handling.

I wasn't laughing after that video of Dan's! :o

That is the most graphic evidence of the life-saving benefits of kill switches combined with self-inflating life vests that I have ever seen!

Also, another good reason not to jump boat wakes when you're going 50+ in an open bass boat... :roll:
