1999 Osprey Project....

I recently purchased a used 1999 Osprey...I bought the boat online through a broker on the east coast sight unseen. I have always had the dream of taking an older boat and restoring it. This year I started my project...My first goal was to find a boat that just floats and is not marked up too bad on the hull. This Osprey fit the bill! When I bought it, I was surprised to find out it had a new 454 Volvo I/O. Sweet right, not...I spent a few bucks trying to keep this engine running....I/O's just don't do it for me in the salt water. So this past spring I finally pulled the trigger and put an offshore bracket on, and mounted a yammy 300hp 4 stroke. My next project was to update the boat a little....did some thinking, and I ended up going with wrap vs. paint. Attached are some of the photos so far...my next project is to get some Tuff Liner down on the decks and sides to help protect the boat and give it some durability.
* Offshore bracket & outboard was done by Bayside Marine in Everett, those guys are great to work with up there.
* WrapJax in Tacoma did the wrap & graphics on the boat
* Portland Marine did the TR-1 and Electronics package
