Talkin' Turkey!
Posted: Sat Apr 09, 2011 5:18 pmJust thought I would go for a little drive and take a look around in advance of Friday's April 15 gobbler opener. The best eating bird I have ever tasted was a wild turkey I took several years ago so imagine my surprise when I spotted this bunch in Snohomish County!
A nice bunch which had a couple of toms all henned up! They couldn't have cared less that I was taking their picture!
Here's a close-up of the biggest tom and he is all puffed up to impress the girls!
For all you gobbler-gunners out there, good luck this Friday and save a thigh for me!
