Don't Forget the Duct Tape!

With my bad knee and Nelly's flat tire we were quite the pair in the Okanogan this past weekend. Moments after Nelly missed a tough shot on a 3x3 on top of the ridge the sole tore off of his hunting boots...tough deal. He flippity-flopped all the way back to the truck like this...
Thankfully one of the guys in camp had some 100 mph tape and I went about wrapping the big guys ankle the next morning.
Good as new. Plus, the duct tape acted as a homing beacon on the mountain. If it wasn't easy enough to spot Nelly to begin with the reflective boot just made all that much easier
Great time hunting with Nelly and the gang on the east side and the bios were right...there really is a lot of deer over there this year!
