worked out way through the fog from everett to good 'ol Possession Bar. kind of a nasty 12' incoming this morning, but managed to weed our way through the shakers and pick up this nice little 7 1/2# blackmouth around high slack off the west bar. green dragon Qcove and the smaller, 3" I think, Irish Creme Kingfisher, hugging the bottom in 110'. it only had one small 3"-ish herring in its throat, nothing in its gut. absolutely beautiful morning out there.

forgot to post this pic. right when we got out to the west bar, saw this ballistic missile sub heading south from PNP to Bremerton, escorted by two Coast Guard cutters clearing a 1,000 yard standoff path. pretty cool. kinda wish we had done the PNP to Pilot Pt troll to get the up-close fly-by.

Great work T-DUB!
We scratched the heck out of Saratoga Passage on the opener and hit north and south Hat Island today with one barely legal fish to show for it.
Tough opener but I'm still looking for that secret blackmouth hotspot...
