Salty chum salmon!

Headed out for a mid morning, last ditch coho effort today and the coho were nowhere to be found!
At the ferry landing at Mukilteo we could see spawned-out pinks, flushed out from the Snohomish River being snapped up by a bunch of sealions working the area.

Starting south of the furbag "buffet" Marc Diaz nailed this chrome chum at 100' on a tuna filled Brad's Bait Cut Plug

Without question, the rivers will be the best bet for coho and chum but not to worry, blackmouth season starts November first!

Hey Rudi,
We got that chum just south of the Mukilteo Ferry landing on a Brad's Bait Cut Plug filled with canned tuna... no kidding.
One hundred feet of wire on the Cannon Downriggers was the magic number and we were marking a bunch of salmon and bait at the time.
Get out there and good luck!
