I blew work off yesterday and took my girlfriend out fishing. We launched the skiff at the Muk and shot down to Posession. We started out trolling southwest across a 90' flat that was holding bait and she hooked up a nate king rite away. Thanks to Ray G's input (on my last post), I decided to pull a green/black spatterback double glow hootchie on and it worked! It was a nice fish that was around 12 to 15#'s and we said our goodbye as we safely sent it on its way. That was the first pass... the second pass we got doubles on some pinks and were able to get both fish in the box. After a couple more passes with not much action, I decide to move us back to the main land side and fight the crowds for some of that pink action. We worked the area just off Picnic Point, dodging debris/weed bands on the water. My girl got another pink and I got my first coho for the season (8# hatchery hen). After I cracker off a couple of pinks, my girl's rod goes off and she proceeds to land a 14# hatchery king! What an epic day on the Sound! Congrats to Lauren for fighting and landing her first Puget Sound kings like a pro. Good Luck! Garret
