The mighty Fraser River just north of our border is open once again for sockeye this season. Not the record 34.5 million fish they had last year but still a good run estimated around 4 million fish this year with that number expected to go up. Not to sure how much longer the season will remain open because its a shotgun opener but get in while you can. Mix in a good number of springs this season as well. We didn't encounter any real toads this year as in years past, mostly mid teeners but and abundant amount! Lots of hookups on springs this season!
