Record King Caught in Queen Charlotte Islands

Hadn't seen this posted yet . . . Figured maybe someone might want to see it. Gotta give credit to Mark Yuasa of the Reel Time NW Blog at The Seattle Times for the story. Someone caught an 84 poung king - and let it go! It was caught up in the Queen Charlotte Islands. Here is the link

The pictures in the blog post are AMAZING. I can't fathom catching a salmon that big. Let alone having two rods hit at the same time for 110+ pounds of chinook.

Now THAT's a Fishing Report . . :)

When I got the newsletter I was like...84 pounds released...yeah right. Then came the photos and all I could say was....DOOOOOD! That's a fracking pig of a Chinooky right there :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:

I hope that fish makes up the Skeena or wherever it's headed. Some quality DNA in that toad!
