This was on the San Juan opener. It is a 25 inch Chinnook. My very first salmon caught in Thatcher Pass. After taking your advise on opening day about Obstruction Pass my wife hooked her 28 inch Chinnook the following Wednesday in Obstruction Pass 70 feet down in 90 feet of water on the turn around using the red on red hot shotter flasher and irish cream spoon. Thank you all for the good information.

You're hooked now dude!
I'm glad we could be of a little help to you! Good job and happy BBQ-ing!
After slowing a bit after the opener, the San Juans have picked right back up again!
I'm heading back up there as soon as I can!

Way to go Pat & Mrs. Pat!!
Now the grass will get a little longer before you cut it, cleaning out the garage means cutting a path to your fishing gear, and you'll find yourself using your sick days around "openers", good weather, and favorable tides.
Welcome to the club!! 8-)
