From John Keizer of Salt Patrol.com

"Fished Westport the first three days of the opener. We found fish all three days north of the harbor off Ocean Shores.
Fishing was good. We took a limits of fish on all but day one when we came up one short.

We spend most of time trolling in and out of crab pots in water 35ft to 60ft deep.

Yea, saw ya out there Salty Dog, :ugeek:
Those crab pots were quite the obstacle course eh?!?
I fished 2 days, with 6 keepers, and 1 downrigger setup to a submereged pot....
Was a pleasant surprise to find fish in close, versus running 10-12 miles out though.
See ya on the next trip.
