Well i headed out a little late this morning, Left Evrott at 5:30. Took me about an hour and 20 to get there. There was already people leaving when i got there with sad stories. But i know that those spring/summer kings aren't really day light biter's. So i pick out one of my rigs since i don't have eggs, i go with a yarn ball that i tied up Glen Hall style with a corkie with egg and salt shrimp smelly jelly on it. 7:15 hits and its fish on after about 15 casts and im the first one with a fish. Fight it onto the bank, give it the wood shampoo.
Seen a 3 or 4 more kings hooked and a bunch of small steelhead and dollies. Didn't seem to be any one spot that was hot.
Just hope that the warm weather coming doesn't blow the rivers out.
First north cascades springer for me
A 3rd full so far.
The beginning of something tasty. Cedar plank with fresh fish. Just salt and pepper, don't need much with a good king. It was good.
