I'm going to be camping at Ft. Flagler by Port Townsend for the next 5 days with a couple of families with a bunch of kids. Where is the best spot to take them to catch a bunch of pinks (and maybe a silver or two) and have a lot of fun while on the boat? Thanks!

Hey G,
First off, I'm very envious that you have five days at Fort Flagler!
You'll be camping near a great location for both pinks and coho, namely Marrowstone point seen below:

Cast Buzz Bombs or pink Rotator jigs from the point around tide change and you'll attract attention from humpies as well as coho!
Stage your efforts from the bank around slack water and from your boat, just troll cut plug herring through the jumping, rolling fish and enjoy your weekend!

One last thought, if you download the Navionics ap, you'll never be without a tide and current book again!!! cheers

Thanks Nelly!
It was a bust around Marrowstone but we found and killed them between Bush and Lagoon Points!
Tried out the app and I'm sold - love it...

Cheers!

Glad you like the Navionics ap G,
There is nothing quite like having a chart plotter, GPS and a tide & current book in your pocket 24/7! cheers
