HAPPY NEW YEAR in Area 7
Posted: Fri Jan 02, 2015 7:35 amThe weather looked good on the first day of 2015 so we headed out of WA Park to try our luck.
We listened to Derek Floyd's advice as newbies to fishing the San Juan's. Had a nice boat ride to the west side of Orcas and the results are in the freezer. 9 lbs was the largest fish to make it into the boat. My crappy net job let a lucky fish swim away. It was the biggest fish of the day.
There are so many places to fish up there. No big derby's in our future but we found one place that we were successful at. Thanks for an informative and fun show to listen to.
