A honor!

Had a chance to spend a few hours this morning with Ken Chew; a long time UW college of fisheries professor, world renown shellfish expert, ex WDFW commissioner and first class gentleman!
It was hoped that with nearly 150 years of experience in the boat we would be able to trick a few Lake Stevens kokanee. On the lake shortly after dawn and in a few minutes the first take down of day happen and before that fish was in the net we had a second take down. What a start a double header! A gorgeous day on the water and by mid-morning Ken was on the way home with a full bag of nice fresh kokanee and a half dozen freshly smoked kokanee from last week to be shared with family and friends.
See the following for the latest honor to Ken

Always a pleasure to spend time with one who has given so much!
