Puget Sound halibut report

Fished the opener Friday and Saturday we went one for four on Friday we had 3 on in the first two drifts up off the bottom pulling line and then they just spit the hook. What a heartbreaker well we did not give up we jigged it up for 12 and half hours and finally landed the fourth hookup which yielded a 65 pounder. Then we Scraped up Some lings and called it a day. Saturday seem to little tougher for most of us out there in our Psa club outing. We only had two hookups and landed a 46 pounder. Most of our action came off McCurdy one hour after low slack.
