Just returned from a three day trip to Eastern WA. My buddy and I trailered my kayaks out there and spent a day trolling Omak Lake for Lahontan Cutthroat Trout. Omak Lake is a real beauty but does require a tribal license to fish there. We pretty much had the place to ourselves except for two guys casting bug wands from the bank. I landed (and released) 26 cutthroat trout. There were some chunky ones in the bunch too. The lake is C&R until May but plenty of fun on light gear. Here's a video I put together. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zMdAbpA ... e=youtu.be

Day 2 we hit Rufus Woods (just above the Chief Joseph Dam). We fished for 4 hours and I had two bites. Marked several fish but not as good as it was back in January. We got out of there about 3pm but made it over to Fish Lake outside of Leavenworth. Lots of stocker rainbow trout but I landed a nice 4lb triploid that I took home for dinner.
